I’ve been chosen as the winner of a photography contest in Slovakia. Photographers were to capture beauty and diversity of Slovak region called Zahorie.
I took this photo during a hot summer day as I was running my 10 km. The man appearing as a silhouette was watering the tree. He went back and forth to get the water into his bucket from a small river behind. His bike is leaning on the right side of the photo. I like the composition and I thought that black and white would give the photo a special feeling, by making everything pop out nicely.
The photo exhibition of this contest took place in Smrdaky, Slovakia.
